Absolutely Bazaar.

Bazaar, but in a good way (again).

I don't know how you can think on this level and not have a little SOMETHING going on with you. In any case, I don't care, because these are so highly entertaining.

You do a great job using the audio to set the mood.

I do wish that the NG emailing worked because I should have been emailed that this and the others were released and I wasn't so I am getting to them late.

Great job on this one though. I'll go check out part 2 and 3 now.

Cool, and Creative

You kept a very nice flow with this animation to the music.

The animation itself was reminiscent of the old Disney toons in the way they moved except obviously more updated.

You kept it constantly changing and interesting. Your transitions between scenes made it fun to watch and were done seamlessly.

Just a great job, well done.

Strange

It kept a good flow with the music and it certainly was odd.

I think there was a bit too much crapping and vomiting, though. You had good action then started doing that a whole lot.

In any case, the animation was good, but at times choppy.

Overall a good, twisted animation.

Cool Story and Animation

Well, you have an interesting story and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The graphics were very original and you had a lot of detail in both characters and things in the background. Adding little ideas like the water bird in the library was extremely unique and brought life to the story.

That effect you made with the sun while climbing was actually somewhat stunning. It was a great way to introduce the main story and title credits.

Your camera work was pretty good, but it had moments where it seemed to skip or jump a little bit, but that's most likely Flash limitations rather than any shortcoming on your part. Although if you don't use an internal camera it would benefit you (although it seems you do).

I guess my only real criticisms would come with the occasional odd lull between lines. At times I felt the conversations should move quicker. Also your leg animations were odd as it was pretty obvious it was all tweens, but as an artist I totally understand time constraints and tweeing plain and simple saves time so you can make a story.

Also, using shadows with characters (even simple ones) can add depth. As it is, it kinda' looks like they're floating at times and when he knocked on the tree I seriously didn't know why his hand was up until I watched it the second time.

Congratulations on your Daily Feature! You also placed quite well in the weekly awards (10th place) which is quite good for your first Daily Feature. Keep up this series and it wouldn't surprise me if you nailed down a weekly award at some point.

Aeonstars responds:

Thanks for watching! I'm glad you appreciate the detail I put into every scene. Since you pointed it out, can you tell me how many birds you see in the flash? The drinking bird is one ;). Also, the two scenes where Evan is seen as a silhouette, can you tell me what is happening to him? Evan climbing is one of them obviously and I'm glad it captivated you. I will take your criticism under advisement too! My leg animations could definitely be better, you're right. For the times when the characters skip or jump, unfortunately, that was flash and there's nothing I could do about it ><. Anyway, thanks for writing a big review!

Great

Nice action, but your Play button didn't work. I had to right click and Play.

Kottbullar responds:

K, fixed... Glad you managed it to watch it anyway!

Just OK

Well, for 1 scene it wasn't too bad, but it wasn't all that entertaining either.

Way too much breathing into the mic. Not the intentional hissing sound, but the puffs after speaking. Move the mic away when recording.

Also, it really wasn't very funny and your idea of what a pilot is, is incorrect. A pilot actually is a whole episode. This is more like a Preview episode.

In any case, I think if the whole episode follows what you've done here it will only do ok on NG as it isn't brining anything too spectacular or funny to the table.

But, since it seems you're pretty new to animating it should still be a solid 1st series for you to practice with and have some fun with and improve as you go.

NorthAmericaProduct responds:

thanks, and i know a pilot is a first episode, i just didn't really know how to word it

Dude, EXACTLY

I see this a lot. People remember things and are super-Patriotic for a short amount of time then get right back into their lives.

I mean, Sept 11th was a horrible nightmare and it wasn't but 6 years ago.

Already people have forgotten.

EH??

This one was funny. The animation wasn't great in spots, though, but it was good for a few laughs.

I like seeing Daphne get punched.

A lot.

Return of the Harbinger of DEATH!!!!

Dude, make the third one already!!!

This one requires you continue. Its says you will! You promised!!!!

It was funny and weird. Your new abilities at animation would make the next and final one absolutely great!

Banana's a Sick Fucker

Hey, this was your first good lip sync movie.

It was an odd story that ended in a funny way.

Had some good site gags in this one, too.

Caulk.

boinky33 responds:

Cock.

Dude, where's my Flash?
