I got married August, 24th to a hot woman so there's hope for all of you, too!

The honeymoon was excellent, but unfortunately it's back to work today. DAMNIT!

A vid of some pics of our wedding if you like that sort of thing (also a little video in it as well):

If you caught the last Spore Safari you saw Skip get messed up by a Choogaroo.

Well, there's a new one! Two new ones actually. If you've seen none, start from the bottom. Also my latest VLOG is at the end. It's full of wisdom and news about me you want to hear. Really. You do.

The "Spore Safari" are me as Skip Donnely, an Aussie, going thru the Spore Galaxy getting PWNED on occasion by the creatures Skip knows so well. Or maybe not so well...

Here's another update from me and the crap I come up with using that damned Spore Creature Creator.

Did I come up with some dude with an Australian accent who attacked mercilessly by animals and goes by the name Skip Donnely?

Yeah, I did.

And, yes it was based off of the awesome dude known as Steve Irwin.

Tell me what you think!<div class="blogmedia">

I'm sure many of you have seen the YouTube movie using WoW using the song "The Internet is for Porn." Well, I have done my own using Spore's Creature Creator.

The movie I made?

The Internet is for Porn! (Sporn?)

Go to this link and click "High Quality" to see it in High Quality.

Make sure to spread that link around. Let's make this shit go viral!

A little update. I am scripting a Clock Day entry. It's still loosely coming together, but I think it could be neat. I'd like to accomplish a Flash SOME TIME THIS YEAR.... and Clocks are easy to animate. Maybe a great way to get back in the game a bit (even if it'll be buried under a pile of crap that day).

On another note, I have entered the Spore Dance Off competition on YouTube. If you aren't familiar with spore, go get the free download it's a great way to spend some time making crazy creatures.

Here's my entry. If you'd like to vote on it (because you LOVE me!) I've provided the link under it.

Well, I've been animating a little bit on that Britney thing, but mostly I've been practicing in Flash seperately.

I've always had a tough time animating fire and fog, but a cool dude by the name of adwau gave me a hint about using photoshop for better fog. I looked up a fog-making tutorial online and found a good one that helped me find a starting point. From there I found a better way that I made form that one using more 10% opacity and layering it sporadically. Looks WAY awesome especially when animated!

Then I found a fire tutorial that uses text to teach fire, but i use white circles instead of text. Now it looks great as well when animated. It'll look even better once I take some serious time to make the fire instead of just practice.

I am happy. Back to animating again for me.

...and damned scary when animated.

And I saw this yesterday on Break.com (which we need to be allowed to embed from... NEWGROUNDS!!!!)

These things aside I have started animating again. Yes, finally. It's little by little right now as I am just getting back into it. First thing I'll finish up is probably a Britney Spears parody for Bytesize. It's only 30 seconds long and a good way to get back into things. If Tom doesn't want to Bytesize it, I'll asplode the size and submit it. If he does accept it, I'll make it a bit longer and probably submit the longer, unedited version, to the portal later.

So that's what's up here!

Now, go eat some Pop Secret and blast the damned Canada Geese from the sky!

Well, I'm flying out to Taiwan tomorrow on business for a few weeks.

I can only hope that I get a chance to work on Flash while I'm there. I need to get a damn Flash released sometime this year!!!

I also hope that those bastards don't block NG like China does (fuckin' commies...).

Oh, and I also hope my plane doesn't plummet into the Pacific. That would be nice, too.

UPDATE: I lived. YAY!

Ok, so I have all these projects I have lined up.

I've got Spaced Out 2 that is ready to really roll. I've got another Bytesize written, voiced and already started drawing it (it depicts a bald Britney Spears w/ and English accent). I also have a story-boarded music video set to the Crash Test Dummies' song "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" that will be my first music video and so far looks really good.

Also, I may make a somewhat extended version of the Britney Bytesize for release.

But there's a problem.

My motivation is not there right now. There's all this stuff I want to do, but it takes so long to do things that I sit down, open Flash look at things and then immediately burn out. I then close Flash and find something else to do.

Anyway, that's where I'm at. I'll find some way to get things done, it'll just be a while. I really want to make that bytesize for Tom soon, though but I don't want to half-ass anything because I'm just going thru the motions.

Maybe I'll do some bbqbeefburgerman-type animation so I can make things faster ad that could boost me out of my funk.

Below is a mostly finished, bald Britney Spears from my bytesize I am making.

Tough Time Getting Motivated

Well, as some of you know, Spaced Out 2 has been in production on a low scale, behind "You Love This Movie" which was released in November. Since then, though, I have had very little time to work on it since I was on business to Shanghai, China plus with the holidays I just haven't found the time.

I have made progress though. The graphical overhaul on the main characters, the ship interior and exterior are complete, plus some animation is done. The main menu has also made some progress as it will be slightly different.

In the up-and-coming episode the ship will have a voice and you'll be meeting some new characters. If you haven't seen the first episode, you can check it out here.

I've also been drawing more lately, practicing a bit since my graphical ability isn't all that awesome and it's the one area that probably needs the most attention with my movies. So, I have heard the constructive criticism and I'm doing something about it.

I'd also like to thanks everybody of the huge success I've had this year. I've gotten front page twice with "Dumbledore is Gay" and "You Love This Movie" as well as Daily 1st and Underdog of the Week with the latter.

Also, I've been working on future projects. I completely story-boarded my series that I am planning on making in the future. It's a fantasy setting and will be a serious series unlike everything else I've made which is comedy. I've also been planning a 30 short Flashes in 30 days project and I've got 20 written.

I hope everyone had a good holiday! Happy New Year and here's hoping this year is even better than the last!

Oh! And I turned 30 in December while I was away. So, happy birthday to me!
