[El Emigrante Cactus Part2]

Kinda' Flat

The Flash was made pretty good, but the pace was really slow. The jokes weren't that great, but I did like the dog peeing on him.

Also, why did you split these up? They are short and under 650 Kb each. Kinda' weird...

Another oddity: 1st episode he was on the same side as the guards and went to the other side. Then, this episode he came BACK over? Which side is Mexico and why would he cross twice?

Anyway, decent job. The drawings are smooth, but I'd really like to see more work on the jokes and storyline.

Good First. Bad Spelling.

The movie itself was pretty good for a first. The animation was decent and the background was pretty good.

You spelled a LOT of stuff wrong with the speach, though. If you are going to release a Flash you should spell check it thoroughly as many people may see it. It isn't just typing and hitting ENTER, you have a chance to actually look over it and correct it.

Also, using white in blood is a questionable choice. Using different reds and even hints of orange will give you a better effect.

Fun Watch

This was a pretty neat Flash to watch.

You kept a good pace and stayed true to the song you selected. The sprites were pretty good and the constant movement kept me interested.

How Funny!

Man, that was great. Your drawing is great again and the idea is hilarious! I was also somewhat pleased with myself for knowing where each soundbyte came from before the end.

My question is: Where's your daily award? This is some funny stuff right here!

Your work continues to impress me and make me laugh. Every idea seems original and fresh. Great job yet again! 5!

I have made over 50 flash cartoons since October of 2005 and has not gotten one award. I don't know why my stuff isn't more popular. Perhaps not enough random violence and VG sprites.

Fun to Watch

I've seen your others and I like the humor in this one. I do feel you accomplished what you were trying to.

The graphics are greatly improved, obviously. I like how you did the beginning with them going from their old selves to their new selves. Great idea there.

I feel that there could have certainly been more animation. Like the dragin never really moved and when that guy was under the dragon, he was jus thimself turned sideways instead of redrawn. Yeah, it's time-consuming, but it would look better.

Nice work on this. glad you were able to find some people to help you out with the graphics. Hell, I could use the same help. hehe

Time consumeing and the more animating I do the less some people will like it. Sure I could spend the time and make the characters walk every where instead of hop with tweens but for every person that impresses there will be two more thinking it's less funny.

Pretty Good, Man

That was a good first sprite. I think the backgrounds could use a lot of work, but you can find sprites to use for backgrounds next time. That should help tie it all together.

I like your use of sound FX when they talk once in a while, but i feel you could have used more SFX during the fighting.

The story was interesting and I like how you left the ending.

A Fun Watch

The Flash was good, man. Congrats on front page and Daily 2nd!

As for the movie, the script was pretty funny.

The voice acting was good, but I think sometimes the timing was a bit off. Like, the joke should have gone off a few frames earlier for better timing. There were also some odd camera and graphical/animation errors like when they are walking and it goes from one person to the other, in between it jumped out for 1 or two frames only then jumped to someone else's face. It was disorienting at times. They also stopped walking for some reason when they were walking ot the chick's house. The van drove on the sidewalk and in the beginning when the dude who jumped out the window went under the blanket to stand, his hands were left behind on the blanket. More sound FX would have been nice as well.

Yeah, I listed a lot of errors, but this was still a fun watch. The Aladdin ending was pretty damn funny when Rude Boy and his friend were singing on the flying carpet. I liked the guy with the glasses. his character was pretty funny and the scene when he saw the girl was funny as well. Good use of song.

I've seen the others of this series and it's a solid, fun series so keep it up.

And, hey, what tthe heck is up with the reviews? You're getting robbed with so few!

Thank you so much for liking it! Thank you for pointing out the errors too...but some were not even errors, for example, they stopped while they were walking because they had reached the house, and the hands under the blanket were actually Rude-Boy and Junior's hands, not Max's.

I LOL'd!

This was damn funny. I was working on a Flash and had a similarmishap on a few occasions where I worked for hours without saving, did something in the movie and it decided to crash. I can TOTALLY relate!

I laughed a couple times out loud. Like the timing of the crash and when he tried to send the error report.

Very funny. A great short!

[Deadly Dollies (FV)]

Wow. Damn Good.

That was a lot of fun to watch, hard to play, though.

The animation was pretty great. At times it was tough to tell what was happening, but FBF can be at times. The violence was done very well and it was also funny at points. When the dolls roared like godzilla, that was pretty funny.

Th eplay button was tough to use. When you make a button, the HIT frame is where you set the clickable area for the button. Make it a filled-in square that envelopes the word PLAY. That boz won't be seeable, but the button will work better.

Very Well Done

I liked this qute a bit. It was short, but good for an introduction. I know you said you may not get to continue, but if you do I have a feeling it would be a staple on Newgrounds, so you've got something to shoot for on that. As a Flash Artist myself, I can appreciate time as I find little time to get things done, so I understand if you don't get to keep going.

My score breakdown:

Graphics: 8. They were pretty good with some good use of colors. Everything seemed to fit togeth well.

Style: 8 Animation was pretty smooth and you set the tone well.

Sound: Was great music and voice acting was good. In one line there was a little "POP' but no big deal.

Violence: 2. Not really any. Just some blood on the lion. Not a bad thing, though. I wish they'd get rid of this option or make an N/A option.

Interactivity: 1. Same as violence. Not a game, only one button.

Humor: 3. Not a humerous Flash, but not supposed to be. I gave yo ua 3 because of your commentary about not getting our hopes up.

Overall: A well-deserved 9. It has definite potential as a series if you were to continue.
